Classes are divided into 4 levels for preschool-aged skaters 18 months - 6 years old. They will develop preliminary coordination and strength to move around on the ice. No prior skating experience needed. Students will build confidence in skating, learn how to fall and get back up, and have fun playing games.
Basic Skills has levels 1-6 that work on the fundamentals of ice-skating for students over the age of 6. Students work on forward and backward skating, stops, edges, crossovers and turns with agility, balance, coordination and speed. Each lesson is broken into 3 parts: Stretching- off ice, Power- speed, stamina, strength and core, and Elements- footwork and jumps.
Do you dream of jumping high into the air or spinning in a graceful layback? These classes teach the beginning elements of figure skating, including progressive skating skills, transitions, spins, jumps and more. There are 7 levels: PreFree Skate then Free Skate 1 through Free Skate 6. Each Free Skate level is divided into three core areas: skating skills, spins, and single jumps. The levels are designed to give skaters a strong foundation if the skater chooses to compete in figure skating.

Private Lessons
Private lessons can be helpful when preparing for a competition or to give your skater individualized attention. A private lesson coach will help with music selection and will design a program that includes all the necessary elements for your skater's level of competition. If you are interested in private lessons, please contact the coaches directly, or feel free to visit with the club directors or officers if you have questions. Private lesson costs vary by instructor. Private lesson fees will be paid directly to the coach.
